Meet Darrypee
Damilare Olanrewaju, profoundly called by his stage name Darrypee. He is not only a talented singer, but he’s also a creative songwriter and well nurtured music producer who studied music at PEFTI music school in Lagos, Nigeria.
Darrypee also has many awards from different competitions to his credibility, and recently won the Next Top Rated Artiste Season 9 at NaijaRocks TopRadio 90.9

”Recording of Relief Yourself”
This short film was made over full two days of shooting (12 hours calls on each day) during COVID-19 pandemic while most of New York City was still in quarantine. We filmed in LaMaMa studio with a green screen with my production team while social distancing and wearing masks.

Nocturne in 1200 Seconds is a series of seemingly unrelated monologues alternating between two enigmatic "FIGURES". The script was created out of found texts slightly altered and recycled.The work confronts the dark side of human nature without blinking. The legendary Japanese film director, Akira Kurosawa said, "To be an artist means never averting one's eyes. To look away leaves the story incomplete."
